Welcome to Northwest Ballet of Steamboat Springs.
As you begin here, please remember that dance is like so many other activities... you will get out of it as much as you are willing to contribute. Regular & prompt attendance at class, serious attention to corrections, earnest application to what you are learning, & respect for your teachers & fellow classmates - this is the foundation for outward progress & achievement.
My goal, as well as the other teachers, is to encourage the students to find it within themselves to accomplish these things & to set goals of their own, for the willingness to learn can not be forced. For those students willing to make this commitment of effort, we hope to make the study of dance exciting & valuable in all areas of their life, not just the physical movement.
